Has anyone ever felt worse on methotrexate than off of it?

Despite taking 2mgs of folic acid every day, when I take methotrexate I feel

like I have taken poison- for days. At this point, I am getting 2-3 horrible

days and 3-4 cruddy days a week with methotrexate and still needing depo medrol

injections monthly. I skipped my dosage this past week due to a scalp infection

(nearly constant since starting the methorexate) and feel much better- still

have the joint pain and a little tiredness, but not the " I've been poisoned "

feeling.

This may just be me- I am unusually sensitive to medications- but I am thinking

that I cannot be the only one who has this kind of experience with a med.

i've had bad stomach issues with it also. but it has def helped my

joint pain (in that when i tried to go off it i was hurting much

worse). and it makes me really tired.
