Guest guest
I have posted a couple of times recently. I have been tentatively dx with rheumatoid arthritis despite being seronegative and only having active involvement in one wrist for the past 4 months. But it just won't go away, it's severe. And I have been very aware that I do get aches and pains in my other joints that come and go in the past few years, " what about that problem I had with my foot, my hip, etc. " Felt like my foot/ankle hurt today. Looked at it after work, and without having been touching it, etc., there is a red spot. Ah, this is what happened to my wrist. It is tender to the touch. Here we go... It is still all so unreal. I am only 30. I'm still mostly in denial. I am on 15 mg Mobic and go to the rheumy next Friday to get bloodwork, then hopefully start on MTX ASAP. Seriously, I am used to the exhaustion, I have been exhausted for years, and I am not able to comprehend what may be in store. Will it just go away? I realize I can't afford to hope so. I guess I will try to focus on the positive and remember to FIGHT. MTX is the first step...
