My endo knows my difficulty dealing with same. I have congestive heart and just can't do it. She (the Dr.) suggested a recumbent bike, and I said I would try to acquire one. So far the cost has stopped me, but it does sound like a really good idea. You sound like you are doing well. Just keep trying to do those mall walks or whatever you can do. Oh, and what is CFID? Best to you? Fran __________________________________________________

Before forking out the money, try a week's membership at a health club that has them (recumbent stationary bikes). They may or may not work for you. Sometimes health clubs have coupons in the newspaper for a free week. > You sound like you are doing > well. Just keep trying to do those mall walks or > whatever you can do. Mostly what I do is rock vigorously in my rocking chair, and add a few easy exercises while I'm doing it. It does very well at keeping the edema away from my lower legs, ankles, and feet, and I can do it every day (except when I have a migraine). If you try this (it's good for congestive heart failure), invest in one of those slanted footstools (such as the Dr. Scholl ergonomic wooden slant footrest) and put the lower side closest to the chair so your heels hang down off of it. This increases the pumping action in your ankles and knees. > Oh, and what is CFID? Best to > you?
