Debbie,

I wish I had your energy. Maybe I should talk to my Rhummy aboud Pred. I am

an RN too but have had to sto[p working due to a CVA and many other

problems.I hope to get back as soon as possible but even then I don't think

I could work in an ER. Way to much going on. Hope your shift was a good

one,.

Hi,

Just wanted to say that for right now I couldn't function without my prednisone.

It does seem to take it a few hours to kick in. There is a new prednisone that

one takes at night so that people wake up feeling better.

I was on predisone, and it bothered my stomach so bad, I had to quit, and my

gastro. Dr. who are really against any meds., but I say tough told me to stop

after doing a endoscopy on my stomach. Out of share desperate measures trying

to get relief from some pain had agreed with my rheumo to try again, but just

does havic on me know matter how I take, had to stop after 5 days. I have tried

so many drugs I hoped would have worked to get off the pain med, but nothing

yet. I had been on effexor for 4mo. and was really helping then it turned

against me. ??? My mom was on predisone for 2 yrs. and it helped tremendous

was able to stop it now, but does get crippling pain back at times, but she

keeps going. Wouldn't it be nice to just take 1 dose of something and it rid

all these painfull diseases?
