Good morning all, At the start of this new week let us enter it with

hope that everyone of you feel better. I can't offer advice like

others can. I can only offer support if needed. And a little humor

never hurts. So to that effect let me offer this joke of the week. My

son says this is me. NOTTT....well....maybe.....well probably.

Well it is raining, but the temp is 56 ! My daughters basement will soon be

a swimming pool if we get as much rain as they say we are to get over the

next two days ! The creek by her house is starting to rise too !

Not much is news here. Yesterday at work was something else. It was hard for

us nurses not to do certain things that we are use to doing! They had an

expert come in to make us more efficient, so we started to do what he said

we need to do ! It will be in three phases. Some I agree with, others I do

not. He said that all need to be doing their job, which I agree with, and

that RN should not do the aids work, ok, I believe that to a certain extent

too, but if they are busy and you are sitting and bed needs made, what is

wrong with helping them out????????? They help us, so we can help them ! I

will not stop doing that ! But he did change how we triage some, and it

does seem to be working and after all are use to it and the bugs are worked

out, I feel it will be better. I got a kick out of one nurse, as she goes up

to the guy and says, you do know that we normally do not have this many

nurses here daily? They have extra here to help with the changes, this is

not normal for us!!! Good job, we all patted her on the back for that one !!

He is not for lowering staff, but having what you need to do your job !!!!

So we were glad to hear that !!!

Landen is working on his two year old molars, two points of one have broken

through, so that is a start! Beth is at school. The kids are in school too.

So a pretty normal day around here. I still have this stupid cold, but my

doctor did call an antibiotic in, so will start on that today ! Two weeks of

this is more then enough for me ! It is really starting to wear me down !

I am ready for spring and summer! I feel better when it is warm !! It is

getting to that time, so I had better go and get ready for work! Get this

day started and pray it goes fast! We have been SO BUSY AND HECTIC that not

too much of the day goes slowly ! Take care! Have a great day ! Behave
