A simple equation to understand the Urgent need to introduce second-line ARVs

Its is a fact that many poeple needs second line in India not only from Govt ARV

rollout program but from PLHAs who buy their medication from their pocket are in

neends of second lines.

My point of view is that Mr. X need fist line to live and Mr. Y may need a

second line or Mr. Z needs a savage therapy to live all are equally important.

So if Mr. X was provided medication free of cost why not Mr. Y & Mr. Z.???

Thanks a lot to Friend Mike Tonsing for simplification of the equation to

understand the urgent need to introduce 2nd line ART for Mr. Y or savage therapy

for Mr. Z are equally important to stop

untime death or to think of " Complete Care " for people living with HIV in India.

But, who is giong to understand urgent need for ongoig survival of Mr. Y or

Mr.Z or to ensure or to enforce from the angle of Social Security of any Citizen

as an ethical part our Government responsibility.

Management Guru Professor. A.Choudhury from IIPM has told us, " Yes Govt. can

do this immidiately and how, like collecting very small amount of money as ses

from the product like Diesel/Petrol etc. if wish!

The ongoing " Urgent Need Dramma Series( Is it For the FUTURE o.e. whin 2010 as

promised ? Where is any advoocacy/activity from Govt./Non-govt/PLW Groups like

puppet or self intirest oriented and like discrininators against protestor of co

community members to protect Mr.Z's survival?) to intrduce 2nd line ARV " is

directly allowing to die own Citizen's of Mr.Z catagory of people today.

As a man of Mr. Z catagory, I can hardly find any ongoing interest to save us,

due to the neglence or ignorence

For your kind information, our Govt. do not borther for 2nd line ART Suppoert of

the lady, mother of a positive boy/student working in School of Tropical

Medecines in Kolkata who is an HIV Positive Counsellor. She gets the 2nd line

drug from a foraigner for her present survival
