News item regarding HIV/AIDS film

Dear Forum members,

I recently watched a news item on TV about 4 prominent film producers in India

who plan to bring out a 12 minute film of high standards and relevance to be

shown in theatres in India with block busters(I believe the Bill and Melinda

Gates foundation is supporting the effort) . I believe this is also an issue

that should be given wide scale publicity by our network and others that we are

linked to so that it gets know and used widely. I don't know if they plan to

also bring out DVD versions of it to be circulated, but someone can easily find

that out.

The thinking patterns (and the viewing patterns) of the new generation are

different from ours - so the approach for effective communication has also to be

different.
