My condolences on your father's passing. As hard as it was you honored his

wishes - he knew what was going on and acted according ( I firmly believe that

people will act in a way to get their needs met) . Remember too, that those we

love never really leave us, they live on in our memories. May your good

memories of your dad bring you comfort. God bless you and your family.

I received this message from a researcher I know well.  He is an authority

on caregiving and well published.  I responded, though Mom has passed,

because the aftermath is really still part of the caregiving.

I am sure there are some of you with special stories to tell.  I believe
