Ask your doctor about " Magic Wash " , that might help. I was given that to get rid

of sores inside my mouth due to RA. You rince it in your mouth and then swallow.

It has always worked wonders for me. I also had a different type of sore a while

back & RA doc recommended sucking on lemon drops as it helps some people. Worked

like magic! I don't know if my problems are close to what you are going thru but

I would still ask. Magic Wash is a RX & you keep it in the frig.

I have this right now, and I know how awful these are. My Rheumy gave me a RX

for a Statin rinse, that you swish and swallow, 3x a day. This does work, also,

do you have nausea?

Sure hope you find relief, and start to feel better soon. I care, as well as

Hi Melynda...I'm doing ok other then the sores that just popped up. I dont

take the folic acid on my MTX day. Its hard to describe but the two sores

are on the sides of my tounge sorta like a canker sore I guess.

Sorry about the ribs, I hear so many stories of people who are taking our

kind of meds and have broken ribs.

My experience when taking mtx was it was eating/drinking too much

citris fruits and or juice that would set off the mouth sores.

When I backed way off the orange juice/lemonade etc. The mouth sores

subsided.
