Guest guest
--- Donna, I had horrible back pain as well. I was lucky & NEVER had any of the left shoulder pain, but the back was awful. I used a heating pad & walked & I would suggest checking with Nina to see if the pain pills you have are ok to take. I know tylenol didn't help me much either. it will get better soon. Guest guest
Yes, I had the back pain. I believe it is from the swelling around the band area. I am having it right now after a fill and I think it is because my stoma is swollen but I'm not sure . Do you get the pain when you change sides when sleeping? I always thought it was me feeling the band when I moved?????? Does it feel like it is right between your shoulder blades? I do know this, it will go away as the swelling goes down so take heart, it will go away! Penny > > Has anyone ever had back pain after the surgery? Guest guest
I got back pain at month 7 and seemed to be the weekening of the lower back muscles and not enough gentle excersise to keep them strong. Thereafter, I believe was the source of my nerve damage/pain--neuropathy. I tried yoga but seem to make it worse, I tried lots of stuff since I am a work out freek, and that did not work either--then the neuropathy got so bad, I had to come off treatment. Now 5 months past tx the neuropathy is just about gone, but the back is being slow to gain its strengths again, which in turn looses the pain.EverettDT <dannytodd@...> wrote: Yes I did. Is this related to RA? I woke up like with this pain this morning and it has not yet gone away, even with a hot shower. I'm not sure if I slept in the wrong position, or if its my FMS. I've been off of my NSAID for over a week now, maybe that could even have something to do with it? I've had problems with sciatica in the past, but this doesn't quite feel like that. I thank you so much for all of your input! __________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
When I first started showing signs of RA, I had horrendous back pain. It felt searing hot in the upper middle part of my back. Thank God it went away. Stretching helped a lot.
