- I know when someone is in as much pain, confinements and whatever else

you are suffering with the R/A, that nothing anyone says can make u feel better,

and that usually goes for anyone when they are so overloaded. But I just want

to pass on to you that I had 2 cousins bro and sis born wit this crippling,

painfull disease, They lived in Nova Scotia and I remember them walking with us

to pick berries and with in a short time were unable to contine the rest of the

way, so would stop and they refused being carried most of the time, so after

resting continued with ever painfullstep they tried not to cry and don't

remember much of it, but we knew they were so struggling. They came to US ti

Mass General BOS at age 4and5 I think for new kneecaps put in, and once healed

things got easiery and less pain. Anyway my cousin Corrine is 40 now and has

had her ups and downs with depressions I think and it comes from being lonley,

but she get's herself out of it, and takes her

time using the computer talking to people, her brother who had it died from

cancer at 16, and she also lost a younger sis from brain tumor so she has had it

rough. I can not and don't want to make you feel like because of your kids you

can get over this, there are alot of factors. The others are right if you were

not here for them how would that be? Can u trade your life for leaving your

children no mother? There is programs for people like you to get someone out to

the house and do 2-3 hrs of housecleaning, and meal prep. you can get help

there, if you can get some of the pain eased I think you will be able to look at

a different plan. Take care of yourself and reach out when your really

having it rough. Sharon

I understand where you are coming from, but leaving your kids by any

means other than natural or from a terminal medical condition would effect

the rest of your kids life in a negative way. I know the pain I think most

of us do , but giving up can not be an option. I am not a peppy lil person

who thinks only good thoughts will help. S*** some days NOTHING helps except

going to bed and sleeping but only if there is yet another pill that will

allow you to sleep. I do not know you family situation I do not know if you

have help available of how old your kids are, but I can tell you for sure

they would rather have you here no matter what your condition.I just hope

before you give up you will talk to your family and see if there is someway

to help you where you do not have the burden of housework or cooking. Don't

let the disease win. There are days my attitude sucks most days actually but

I refuse to give up. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers
