Guest guest
Hello everyone, I finally saw the Rheumatologist on Thursday and he said that I was starting to have damage in my joints and that we caught it in time to prevent further damage. Good news.... He also said I have what looks like to him is Osteoporosis. Had a bone density test done to see if any further damage has been done there. He started me on methotrexate as well as folic acid. I actually got up and walked around today with the dogs. I have also been taking ResQ 1250 which is basically concentrated omega 3. I have not felt ill since taking the medication, but I still have pain all over. He also signed my FMLA papers as well as my short term disability papers for me, he stated as of right now I was unable to work and even called my employer and told them my condition was sever and I needed time to heal. This Doctor is really great and wants the best for me. He was really worth the 2 month wait to see him. His name is Dr. Pendleton Wickersham. He practices here in San , Texas. For the first time in a long time I have a better outlook on life. And now that I have a Dr. who knows how much I hurt I feel as if a weight has been lifted off of me. This forum is great and everyone on here is helpful and caring. God Bless All Of You... ...
