Guest guest
I was diagnosed with RA about a year ago. By last May I was taking about 20 units of Ibuprofen/Aspirin daily to barely control my joint pain. My RA recommended the usual MTX+Prednisone treatment plan but I refused due to the many posts in this group about its inefficiency. I came across the papers posted in Arthritistrust.org and learned about the Wyburn-Mason treatment. Long story short, after 6 weeks of 2g of Flagyl for two days followed by 5 days of nothing reduced the swelling and pain in my joints to almost nothing. Before I couldn't wear my shoes or my wristwatch. Now the swellings and pain is gone and a recent test showed 2 of 3 RA indicators in my blood being normal again. I'm down to 1 Ibuprofen + 1 Aspirin daily (as precaution). I'm still fighting some unrelated? Uveitis issues. While I don't think I'm completely cured, I'm happy about the progress. Has anubody have a similar experience?
