I agree with the Debbie L., how and why can u bee d/c'd off your thyroid

medication, as if you don't have one, you need something?, I don't have a

thyroid and have not since 77, I was told back then, that my synthroid needed to

be taken the rest of my life, or I would die. When I was young and rtight after

it and para thyroids also gone, I would go without for a week or two, and would

not notice. I now have run out of them, and not had the money and soon was in

trouble. I also have to have thyroid panel done, just got back from Dr. appt.

and did not have it done but she said I am overdue, people without thyroids can

run into heart failure, and other complications, so if you do not have thyroid

and are not takint anything to make your body regulate itself to all mechanisims

of the bodily function, I would think this could be what is going on. The

thyroid is the thermostat of the whole body. I would re check with Endo. if

this is safe. Take Care, and ask ???

I have thyroid cancer but not RA. Do have fibromyalgia though. Sounds

odd that you were taken off thyroid replacement hormone. Did your

doctor do that? My endo regularly checks my thyroid levels and I am

still taking my Levoxyl.
