Guest guest
I have been taking lyrica for a few weeks now, I started with 75 mgs for a week then up to 150 mgs, I have had dizziness and " vertigo " esp since the dose increased on Wednesday.....has anyone else had this? I do not want to stop the medicine cause it IS helping, since I have been taking it I have been able to function (not well but function) and do some normal things.....any suggestions? anyone else had this side effect?? amber **************Planning your summer road trip? Guest guest
thanks bonnie....I am going to talk to my new rheum doc about it on Friday. it is not so bad that I would prefer it over the awful pain I have had. the neurontin I took a while back made me feel awful, drugged, doped....so this is much better than that. I think if I get on a rheum med I might be able to stop the lyrica amber **************Planning your summer road trip? Check out AOL Travel Guides. Guest guest
Amber, My doctor started me out on a low dose of Lyrica and it made me feel nauseous and very dizzy... I'd rather have the pain then feel like I'm constantly going to fall over or throw up... I was doing horrible at work and everyone noticed that I could barely even sit strait... My doc explained that some people are alergic to Lyrica. Needless to say my doc and I are looking into better management such as enbrel and until that starts she has given me Hydromorphone for the pain... Best of luck to you Bonnie > > I have been taking lyrica for a few weeks now, I started with 75 mgs for a > week then up to 150 mgs, I have had dizziness and " vertigo " esp since the dose > increased on Wednesday.....has anyone else had this?
