Guest guest
The article below reminded me that when I had my knee surgery, I worked out in the swimming pool. Do you have access to a pool, like at the Y? Anyway...hope this helps! Joya ============ Training Talk ============ “When you run in a swimming pool, the water's resistance creates a full-body workout, while the buoyancy eliminates the impact on your legs.” - from Dagny , Runner's World Complete Book of Women's Running, page 116. Do you have access to a pool, like at the Y? I have access to a pool in my backyard... Course, the water's 50 degrees, but I'm sure the ICY feeling would be beneficial for something. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DUN WANNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE the cold!!! I should say, I like it sometimes, but not for a whole SEASON. No, it's not summer all the time, the mountains around us always have snow during the winter and it does snow here gently from time to time, but I prefer summer time... I loved winter in Miami though! ))) Kari
