Guest guest
: I have decided if he wants the house he will get a loan and pay the price anyone else would. As for my sister, this has gone on long enough. If she does not get me the account number or tell me how she wants the money AND it is convenient for me, then I will not be sending it. I put it in a cd for 5 months cause she gave me the runaround then. Now the CD has matured and still the runaround. It matures on the 25th and if I don't have an answer by 5 days after, it is going back into an interest-paying account. I think she is playing victim since she was not in dad's will (she is not his biological child but he raised her from the time she was 3 or so). Dad did tell me to give her some money and I am following his wishes but I do not see why she is making it hard on me so I am forgetting about it until she contacts me. I have hounded her enough and I sure could use the money myself.! -- Re: Personal issue - friends dropping like flies? Well, perhaps you've done enough. If she wants the money, she can get the account number to you. Friendly reminder...you don't OWE her the money, you're giving it to her out of the goodness of your heart. Doesn't sound like she even wants it! I'd be earning some interest on it & not doing a whole lot more! As for your brother buying the house... If you sell it to him & something random goes wrong with the house, will you be able to live it down with him? Perhaps it might be better do just get a realtor & deal with the inconvenience of selling it to a stranger! Best of luck to you in both of these endeavors, ! Guest guest
Sandy I do understand what you are saying. Even Mercola believes many physical problems have an underlying emotional problem and has his new patients speak to a psychologist. I don't know if I believe that all diseases are one or separate but I enjoy reading how other people think as it opens my mind more. 20/20 had a neat clip last night on Worried Sick in America. It was interesting. They compared the minds of a non risk taker to a risk taker. Both have fear but the risk taker knows how to control that fear and channel it into something postivie to achieve their goals. One thing thing they did that I didn't quite get, was they had a girl that was worried about everything. They were trying to change her thought process by telling her to think negatively about what she was worried about. She was afraid to fly, so he told her to say something like " the plane is going to crash " over and over. Somehow this was supposed to de-sensitized the thought. I didn't get it but apparently it's supposed to work. I bought the Secret Dvd after Oprah had it on her show the first time. I had to play it over and over before I really got most of it but I'm sure it will take a few more tries to believe in all of it. I did join the yahoo group regarding Laws of Attraction to try and get started. I told myself, everytime I picked up my keys, I would stop for 30 seconds and tell myself what I am grateful for. It's hard to change the thought process. jingles > Sorry, I don't mean to come across in any negative way. I just think illness and dis-ease are much more complex than we realize and that mind and body are clearly ONE and can never be considered separate. Our emotions alone and how we respond to things and the imprints of our experiences definitely contribute to symptoms that the body sends. This is why we have expressions like " I couldn't stomach that " or " My stomach was all tied up in knots " . These physical sensations/symptoms are manifestations of how we respond to something that happens. This is all I'm saying and sorry if I insulted anyone. > > > Re: Personal issue - friends dropping like > flies? > > > Lynda, > > > > I'm not saying we can change out " genetic predisposition " , but I > > believe that when we have a breakdown or imbalance of mental, > > spiritual, physical, that we are more likely to get what we are > > genetically predisposed to. > > > > > > >

Guest guest
m what planet are you from? On my planet " the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, " as Christ put it. You say on your planet I could " avoid things I am genetically predisposed to by not setting myself up for them? " Oh, you mean I can set myself up to change my hair color, my eye color, and the size of my nose? I can make myself taller or shorter? I can make my adrenal glands bigger or smaller? I can choose not to be nearsighted, and can tell my immune system to quit attacking my thyroid gland? Gee, I wish I was from your planet! Unfortunately a lot of us are stuck on Earth. Re: Personal issue - friends dropping like flies? >>If we don't change the way WE are operating and make the other necessary changes, we won't heal. If we sit back and expect everyone and everything else to change for us, then we will stay sick.<< Sorry I find this offensive. WE have changed, had to. And I don;t think anyone expects the world to change just for our illnesses. If we were not trying to deal with it and get well we wouldn't be HERE. BTW I and many here, have Hash's.. a GENETIC condition that we had NO control over happening to us. Guest guest
I know when my Hashi hit, I was a healthy active HAPPY 19 year old. Well it was when my thyroid died and demanded attention anyway, I had had painful periods for years before this and constipation as a child so anyone's guess if the thyroid was pooping out then, but anyway at 19 I weighed 98 pounds, was a dancer, in acrobatics, and a literal genius in school. I took college entrance exams at Cal Poly in California and got the highest scored they had seen in 6 years..on a tenth grade education. I was a track star in high school, setting a new 100yard dash record, and life was good. NOTHING in my life prepared me or caused me to suddenly gain to 160 pounds and start falling asleep standing up. There was no drastic changes in my life at that time.Just my health. This is called a genetic trigger. By coincidence, my natural mother had me at 18 years old then suddenly at 19 gained horrible weigh tshe was never able to lose. now i I did not have my own experience to go on I would say the birth triggered hers, but the timing was EXACTLY the same age for me and I have never been PG in my life. Another trigger for autoimmune diseases is vaccinations. My dog is a perfect example of this, as is my cat. both are quite hypo. and both this started right after vaccinations. I was reading somewhere a couple days ago that autoimmune adrenal disease is on the rise, though it used to be considered very rare. Wher ehave I heard this before? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
