I suffer from RLS. Mine is genetic as well anemia related. I am Fe++

anemic. I had a GI Bleed in October, got transfused 2 units. Ever since

then my RLS has improved. It is still there, but not as bad. The GI Bleed

was prompted because of anticoagulation therapy for a St. Jude's valve.

Itake Requip and I have been able to reduce my dose. Prior to Requip I used

to drink Seltzer water because it contains quinine. For years this has been

the standard treatment. My mother was prescribed quinine tablets for her

RLS.

Idrink a lot of seltzer, I thought that quinine water contained quinine that

helped with RLS, I thought that seltzer was just carbonated water.
