What are they calling normal? Did you get your labs? Too many labs are

using an outdated TSH test. Did they run the antibody test? Many of us

with Hashi's have a " normal " TSH and our Free's are " in range " , but the

antibodies are the key to diagnosis with the looooonnnnggg list of

symptoms. I went three years with major symptoms and was treated for

depression and them my doctor ran the antibody test when I kept telling her

it's my thyroid!!! I don't take anti depressants anymore. If this

doctor doesn't listen...you need to find another doctor.

The thing that kills me, is hypothyroidism was treated so much better

before the TSH! If it barked like a dog, it was a dog!

Please consider this. I have been treated for thyroid 30 plus years; Doctors

were pleased with lab results. I suffered with many symptoms including

depression. 6 months ago I switched from synthroid to armour. Lab tests stay

the same but my symptoms have greatly improved. Synthroid fixed the lab tests

but not me....

AMEN! Gee add that to the loooooooooonnnnngggg list of people who had the

same experience. I take Armour, it was a life saver. My biggest hurdle

was getting the diagnosis.
