Guest guest
Hi group,I am finding myself with a heart breaking problem. My dear, prescious aunt, is in the intensive care unit in isolation fighting for her life with " sepsis " from a sore on her foot. She is not going to make it.I have been told that it is not a good idea for me to go see her because of the sepsis. She has been hospitalized for 3 days now and every day she is slipping farther away.As of this morning she doesn't have the strength to even speak. Her kidneys have failed,so we know the time is not long. With all of my medical problems,RA,Lupus,Hashi ,Sjogrens, and with all the meds I take,my husband says absolutely not,I should not go.I love my aunt like my mom,and we have a really special relationship, and now not only am I losing her,but I am afraid to go to see her, because of my own health.Am I really at risk or is my husband over reacting? Please let me know your thoughts, this is really a hard one for me,I appreciate any advise.Sherry
