Hi everyone,

A lot of you here have great knowledge of all things regarding blood

tests and I need an explanation if you don't mind. I got a copy of

my blood work up results today and while the Med assistant or tech or

whoever she was called and told me about my RA numbers being very

high adn I didn't know they actually had numbers...I thought it was a

positive negative thing....and I actually did ask her if that meant I

was postive for RA and she said YES...according to the test result it

says negative. However..right under it is listed this other test and

the values there ARE high and it is noted H. It's hard to tell if

it's 904 or 9.04 but there's an H next to it for high. I've tried to

read up on this test. Apparently it has to do with some systemic

inflammatory condition and there was a list but I've tested negative

to all the biggies. 5th day on Pred and I still hurt like hell....I

just don't know what to think now. At least when she said I was

positive for RA I knew why I hurt so bad.... Guess that's why my

doctor wasn't so eager to request x rays or anything for me.

Any and all comments welcome...

Take care,

Sharon
