Guest guest
Thanks, and that was the only way to explain it to anyone, I could go no place without shoes on, even in the house, and still it felt like someone had stuck a bunch of pebbles in my shoes. Funny cause my doc understood. That was when they first put me on the MTX, and the next time I went and saw him I told him thanks cause I was able to walk on the beach barefoot for the first time in a long time and I was so happy, of course that was about 6yrs ago. Guest guest
I keep reading about people with swelling. Is this normal for RA to have swelling? I have had RA for about 6yrs. Probably longer since it took them at least 2 yrs to diagnose it, and that was due to my shoulders freezing up on me, and then my feet feeling like I was walking on rocks all the time and it hurt to walk. I have never had any swelling that I can see, nor can anyone else, it does feel like my feet and hands are swollen, but its just the feeling they are, especially when the humidity goes up,but they are not swollen that anyone can see, they also do not get red or anything. I was just wondering cause I hear so many that have red, swollen and sore hands and feet as well as knees.

Guest guest
The swelling of several joints on both sides of the body is a hallmark of rheumatoid arthritis. http://www.hopkins-arthritis.org/arthritis-info/rheumatoid-arthritis/rheum_clin_\ pres.html http://www.rheumatology.org/public/factsheets/ra_new.asp?aud=pat Not an MD On Wed, Apr 2, 2008 at 12:27 PM, <spincity64@...> wrote: > I keep reading about people with swelling.
