Guest guest
DON'T USE TIME AS AN EXCUSE NOT TO STAY FIT Even if you're truly pressed for time, especially now during the busy holiday season, there are still ways you can make room for the important things, like your health and fitness. Don't be afraid to cut back on your usual training program during these hectic times, but try not to cut out those workouts completely. Too many people have an all or nothing attitude when it comes to health and fitness. During the holidays, it is often best to focus on finding that happy median. There is no need to spend precious hours upon hours in the gym during the holidays, especially when there is so many other things you have to get done. Remember, if you focus on getting the important things done, you can have a great workout in just 20-30 minutes. No one says you have to do an hour with the weights and 45 minutes on the treadmill every time you workout. In fact, it's foolish and counterproductive to train this way. Try upping your intensity by doing your exercise at a quicker pace. Crank the treadmill up a level or two for 15 minutes and throw in a few sets of resistance training. You can do this and still be out of the gym in less than half an hour and feeling a lot better both physically and mentally!
