Guest guest
It could be a possible cross-contamination issue? Something to consider. Have her ask that they mix it with clean and sanitized utensils due to allergy when she orders it. -Toby Toby Amidor, MS RD Nutrition Expert, FoodNetwork.com Nutrition Advisor, FitStidio (powered by Sears) http://tobyamidornutrition.com @tobyamidor Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Starbuck's and gluten? Does anyone know if Starbuck's chai tea has gluten in it? My client states she never had a problem with it until recently and their web info states it is gluten free. Thanks. Guest guest
It may not have it as an ingredient, but there's a lot of potential for cross-contamination. I watched a few years ago as the SB employee at an airport mixed a soy capuccino and added half milk. When I questioned her she said otherwise it won't froth, so she does that so it'll froth. I was glad I caught it because although I tolerate milk, the friend w me is seriously allergic to all milk and dairy products. She skipped the coffee that day. Guest guest
In college my daughter was a Barista @ Starbucks so I agree with Digna. BUT you could say that about any restaurant.
