Guest guest
The following came from a friend. Any ideas from the experts? My field is geriatric nutrition. So our GI from Hopkins called tonight with the biopsy results. You're never going to believe this... Chance tested positive for EVERY single food allergen they tested! They tested for 30 allergens and he was positive for ALL! We are giving him Periactin and that seems to have controlled the vomiting. Has anyone else angel tested positive for all food? What the heck do I do now? He loves to eat! GI said he's never seen this before, ever! He wants to do more research and get back to me. In the meantime, he's been diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis. Anyone else dealt with that? To make matters worse, he's lactose intolerant and he anemic! I'm glad to have some answers, but how the heck do you treat allergies to ALL foods? Thanks. Anything I can pass on to this Mom will be appreciated.
