Guest guest
About two weeks ago I have a cortisone shot in my right knee. I patiently waited for the pain to ease up. Well, it wasn't, I think the pain has actually gotten worse. It's not acting like RA pain now either. Doesn't bother me in the morning when I first get out of bed. The pain starts when I walk any distance at all. And if I sit in a chair with my knee bent. By the evening I have swelling on both sides of the knee cap. I was thinking it was the soft tissues around the knee when I got the shot, and that would help. Since then, I can feel the pain on the ends bones. I am going for a x-ray tomorrow to check for bone damage. Any veterans of this type of thing want to give me any advice? I am by no way new to RA, but usually a little extra steriod helps, and then I am on my way. Thanks,
