School fundraising without selling junk food

Hi Everyone....

Does anyone have ideas (or good web site addresses) for fundraising projects

that do not involve kids selling candy, pizza kits or pies to their neighbors

all year long? Our nutrition committee, of which I have been a big part of this

year, is trying to convince our PTO board that we can, indeed, find several

other solutions to consider for next year. We currently do a Move-a-Thon where

kids take " pledges per lap " around the gym, plus one other " silent auction "

event.

Any ideas (please!) along with information about the ease/success of your event

would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
