Guest guest
We are like physicians...some pediatric, family care, general care, cardiovascular, renal, sports, weight loss etc. Many RDs have other degrees and some are MDs. Registered Dietitian is always spelled with the " T " . Many people say they are a dietician but they are not licensed, trained or registered. To help one of your clients find a RD go to http://www.eatright.org/ Click on Find A Registered Dietitian enter zip code and the medical nutrition specialist that you need. I hope this helps:) Thanks for your support on FB. > And your answer was....:-) > > On Mon, Mar 14, 2011 at 9:52 PM, Weaver wrote: > >> >> >> I have known a registered dietitian who was excellent. Guest guest
Thanks, Here is they article that I posted which she asked her question. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/03/11/us-blood-pressure-drugs-idUSTRE72A02T2\ 0110311 Read the article because the MD, Dr Lee stressed, though, that beta-blockers are often an important drug for people with heart disease, and patients should not simply stop using them because of weight worries. Instead, Lee said, they may need to be " extra mindful " of their weight, and get additional help -- like referral to a dietitian -- if needed. > Perfect!!!! > > On Mon, Mar 14, 2011 at 10:07 PM, Weaver wrote: > >> >> >> We are like physicians...some pediatric, family care, general care, >> cardiovascular, renal, sports, weight loss etc. Many RDs have other >> degrees and some are MDs.
