My name is Tricia and when i was 15 yrs old i was told i had a

double reproductive system,2 vaginas,2 cervix, and a BU, after

having a yearly papsmear. I had a laparoscopy and dye inserted to

find results.

I got pregnant when i was 18 not planned " but happy " , zackery was

born by c-section weighing 5pds 8oz 6 1/2 wks early, premature lungs

hospital stay. Two yrs later pregnant again opposite side,i

miscarried at 12 wks, I needed a D & C so doc decided to remove my

vaginal septum,which then gave me one vagina one cervix but i still

have a BU.

In 1999 I got pregnant again opposite side as my first,I was in

labor from 25 wks on util my water broke at 34 wks,i had strict bed

rest and steroids to mature babes lungs.Hayden was born VBAC

(vaginal birth after section) at 34 wks gestation, weighing 5pds 8oz

as well,he was born with a cleft lip and palate otherwise

healthy,and beautiful. Obviously nothing to do with uterus, My

pregnancy with Zackery was in my right side,smaller of the two,

Hayden my left larger of the two,oddly enough i had more problems

with my larger side then smaller.

I am now a certified Doula birthing coach,and attend approximately 3

births a month. I am well educated in pregnancy and child birth but

when it is your self it seems harder. I am trying to get preg. now

with no luck and no periods,ultrasound Friday to see if i have

cysts,PCOS.
