Guest guest
Carolyn: When we were in CT this year, there were many different types of walkers. I feel that mine was the best for me, because of my size and someone had tried mine, and felt it was the better. I know my friend Sue in VT has a lighter one, an I wouldn't feel safe with it, to light. Sue is tiny (at least the last time we saw her) and probably feels more safe with her's. Like anything else, a matter of preference. Rita Luv & Hugs! ************************************* Some people succeed in spite of their handicap. Others succeed because of them. Guest guest
Lavon, I have a three wheel walker with breaks. My insurance didn't pay for it because the three wheelers don't have a code. Mine tend to get away from me, and the breaks stop on a dime. I almost feel like I'm going over the top. I wish the stop was more gradual. Might want to check that if your looking for one. Guest guest
Rita,, & Dolores, I am one day late but am having a pity party also. My PT wanted me to put a AFO on my right foot. That made me cry for 2 days. Went back to PT today and told him I am going to give the pool 1 month to see if I can get the leg stronger. I hope this works. Guest guest
--Thank you Rita, I think I have found one, by Nova . I hope to pick it up this week. I know when I tried the ones with small wheels it really got away from me. I like the bigger wheels, more sturdy. Guest guest
Boy oh boy--do we need a tea party or what? Too bad we are so geographically separated. I hope the pool works for you. It is one of my most helpful modalities. The socialization is a wonderful escape for me, as well. Fondly, (to all my dear hearts) Dolores Re: Re: PORTABLE POWER CHAIRS > > > > Rita, Go right a head and vent it is all true I have been dealing with > > the garbage!
