There has always been concern of giving " supplements " during treatment and

this would qualify. BUT having said that we did give glutamine, which is a

component of Juven, for H & N cancers. Do the Oncology Dr. have any policy at

your facility? There was some debate that arginine may stimulate cancer

growth since it can be converted to NO (nitric acid) but on the other hand

may make radiation therapy more effective???? I don't think the question

has really been answered. Complex.
