I've been mostly lurking the last couple weeks. Nausea has really kicked in,

big time, but that's not a complaint!!

I had another u/s this afternoon and everything looks great-We can see little

nubbins of arms and legs and two strong heartbeats. Thank God.

Congratulations, Nance! I suppose you have a double dose of morning

sickness, but if you're like most people, it'll pass in a few weeks.

Can you feel something growing in there, yet? When I reached 8 weeks

(both times I did), that was when I first felt `gravid' in the truest

sense of the word. Just rolling over in bed was a reminder that my

body wasn't my own. Hope you're enjoying yourself as much as I did.

Hugs,

Beth

Hi Gabi,

It's nice to hear from you, I was wondering how you were doing. Your US

sounds so wonderful! Cogratulations on making it this far, and on seeing

such a great picture of your baby. I think the " disappearing " 2nd uterus is

common in MA pregnancies as they progress. Take care,

Congratulations, Gabi! It's always reassuring to get the US pictures.

Soon you will also be able to look forward to hearing the heart at each

visit. Are you still being followed every month? Has your OB said whether

or not he will follow you more closely? In my pregnancy, I was followed by

the " standard protocol. " Although he did schedule a few NST near the end

to just check on how the baby was doing. They all were normal.

Gabi-

I thought I replied to this earlier - but I think I lost it, so

sorry if its a duplicate....

WOW! You've just about got that 1st trimester licked! It sounds

like baby is laid back and settled in for a smooth ride!

I bet it was just wonderful to see those u/s pictures! Will your OB

have you in for more frequent checks, or keep you on a regular

schedule? Keep us updated!

Gabi-

I tried to respond to this twice last night, so if you see multiple posts,

sorry!

I am so glad things went well at your appointment. It must be so neat to

see those great ultrasounds! It sounds like baby

is laid back and relaxed for a smooth ride!

Will your doc be monitoring you closely, or will you be on a 'regular'

schedule?

Keep us updated,

I'm so glad I checked my e-mail before leaving work. I'm feeling tears of

happiness for you Beth. Congratulations, you deserve all the good news in

the world throughout this pregnancy, and I know you will continue to have

it.

<< At any rate, he is prepared to do an amnio and take the baby at

>36-37 weeks.>>

Do you mean you will have the amnio to check on the scarred area of

perforated fundus? I'm not totally up on the reasons behind amnios, I

thought this procedure was done to check for genetic defects.

Are you definitely having a c-section?

I am looking so forward to your updates. ENJOY this pregnancy. You have

certainly waited long enough.

You are right about why amniocentesis is done. This amnio would be

done to check the baby's lung maturity, just to make sure he was done

baking.

Yes, I am having a c-section. It is recommended with fundal injury,

and I hate to take any more chances. I figure I've already had my

labor & vaginal birth experience, and now I want a live child and a

usable uterus.

Thanks for your support.
