RD's presence in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab

With a staff shortage of 2 RD positions in our acute care, we are looking to

re-evaluate our services in outpatient areas. Does anyone know if it is

mandatory for an RD's presence to cover Cardiac/Pulmonary for reimbursement? I

have asked my supervisor to speak with the directors of both programs to provide

the insurance criteria stating this, but so far nobody in either program has

produced such documentation. Any info provided will be helpful.
