Guest guest
I have a question. Very active RA right now, not under control. I am taking celebrex/acuflex for pain (doesnt help). I have been having severe toe cramps. They completely curl up and I have to rub them to until the stiffness goes away. Is this a part of it or am I laking some vitamin. Im learning to deal with all the pain, but the pain that worries me most is my feet.
Guest guest
I had something similar all weekend. Mine was located between the second and third toe on the top middle of the foot. I couldn't even stand up to walk. Today when I woke up it was the right foot but not as intense and was more of a come and go throb than the constant pain I had over the weekend when I had to page the emergency rheumatologist on call kmitch1966 <kmitch1966@...> wrote: I have a question. Guest guest
- So did you RA say anything specific about the toe cramps. mine happen on both feet and it is usually my second toe on both. It feels like bad charlie horses. Also I have developed my first nodule on top of one of my feet. Is this a bad sign ? I dont go back to my RA for another 2 weeks. -- In , stephanie <stephieann2@...> wrote: > > I had something similar all weekend. Guest guest
I had to phone the emergency rheumatologist on Saturday, he had me take my Ultram ER which I take for my FMS and RA pain. I couldn't stand up or walk. It too felt like something had been pulled only I had some inflammation. I spoke to my rheumatologist yesterday and told her it was inflamed and warm. It was better when I spoke to her, but its back today only not as bad as it was, I can atleast walk. She didn't say anything really, she was more concerned with my allergic reaction. So I guess I have to wait until I go back in June. kmitch1966 <kmitch1966@...> wrote: - So did you RA say anything specific about the toe cramps. mine happen on both feet and it is usually my second toe on both. Guest guest
Hi Ladies, I am a newbie and I too suffer greatly on a daily basis. The worst of it is watching life go by as I have ZERO energy. Anyway about the big toe pain or cramping, have you had a test for gout?? I eat a lot of ground turkey both for health and finances. I get a gout flare up with that and it feels like a huge painful toe cramp. Just an Idea. Hugs, Jan S NEW E-MAIL ADDY sweetprairie1@... Guest guest
Both my mother (SLE) and myself(RA) have had problems w/toe/foot cramps. I know no solution to them except to massage them out. Anybody know the etiology of them>? Guest guest
I'm not entirely sure. I know at night, or when I lay down for anything, my legs and rear cramp up - we aren't sure if that is a product of the SI syndrome, or from the fibro. Also, for the last several years, I've had some sort of issue with my feet. My feet are much more sensitive to pain and cramping, and now I can barely wear anything other than tennis shoes, and sometimes those cramp my feet. Several months ago, when I was working an hour away, I would even take my shoes off on the drive home.
