Unfortunately my firewall at work as blocked me from seeing this. However,

if this is a clip from CBS Sunday morning, I did see it. Yes, I an envious

of their nutrition program.

About 4 years ago I worked in a small town public school program. I was

able to bring vegetarianism to the school. I worked very hard in improving

the nutrition program. On day I accidentally overheard the superintendent.

He wanted to change the nutrition program to go with the cheapest foods

possible and only use USDA commodities in the school. His goal was to make

the school nutrition program profitable so he could purchase computers for

every student in the school. He was not interested in the quality of food.

He was only interested in increasing the profit margin so he could get the

computers. He had tried to get the school board to approve computers and

they shot him down. When him and I started clashing about the quality of

food, making the foods more wholesome, that is when I realized it was time

for me to move on. I simply could not work with him.
