Guest guest
I worked at a free clinic and we didn't routinely treat any form of arthritis or skin disorders. However - every doctor was told about psoriasis and PA in school - so the question becomes, what was the volunteer doctor's specialty. If he was a nephrologist, it has probably been since med school but if he truly has never heard of it... Methotrexate is extremely cheap and probably the only one a free clinic might be able to provide. That said, many of the companies that make the more expensive drugs have plans to get the medications much cheaper (although probably not free). I would do a quick google search and find out more about the available plans to assist in cost. A doctor would still have to recommend the medication though.
