Jealous, I am.

Kids are eating Bouillabaisse for lunch. 5 course meal. I am green with

jealousy.Maybe that's what happen when you teach kids not only what to eat, but

also to eat what they are served, whether its your mother or the school aid, you

just respect it and dont say " that's not good enough " or " I dont feel like

eating that today " . I didnt see they had so many options to choose from for each

course.Also - they teach them table manners, something our society, at large,

is lacking. maybe all these things are important for healthy eating.It was such

a pleasure to see 5 yo kids eating at the table, politely, they all had a piece

of baguette but did you notice how the little ones are cutting off little pieces

to accompany their main dish. This is what they see in school but also at

home.In addition - the piece starts with how proud the French are with their

contribution to the world cuisine. Well... with all do respect - what is the

American contribution to the world cuisine? Hamburgers, fried chicken, mac &

cheese. Great food, I am not being sarcastic, I love those foods, but those are

not foods you want to teach your family to eat every day. Now Bouillabaisse is

another story.
