I have fibro and have almost every symptom you mentioned including a

positive ANA. I got retested for RA and lupus last summer since my joint

pain had increased. Everything is still negative for any other illness. I

do have a host of other medical issues, but not crohns.

I have every one of those symptoms. I was diagnosed with RA in November. With

the positive ANA and elevated sed rate, it is very possible that you have RA,

and the Lyrica wouldn't do much for you. Are you going to a rheumatologist? If

not, you should get your second opinion with one. Best of luck

to get another opinion about what i really have. I am tired every

morning when I get up (thought it was from having a 3 year old with

autism) but it takes me at least 3 hours to feel a little better. I

can't hardly walk in the morning. here are the rest of my symptoms:

Feet hurt all the time

hands hurt and swell up

can feel my ball and socket joints in my hips

my elbows hurt and have noticed 2 almost cyst like bumps under the

skin

have severe lower back pain all the time

hands cramp like when I am typing, writing

at night i have to wear a boxing glove because I wake up in the middle

of the night and I have to wake my husband up to fix it

I just wondered if anyone knows if this could be RA. What should I

tell the doctor when I go this week.

Also my ANA was high and my sed rate was high too and i also have

crohns's disease. Thanks for listening and would love to know from

others with RA if this sounds like them.

The ANA can indicate other issues besides RA. You might want to seek a second

opinion and have tests for the following: Anti CCP, Sed Rate, CRP, RF, and I

think there might be a couple of others that I had done as well.

sorry to say but it defines me to the button. i have ra and ankylosing

spondolysis. good luck. i don't see how you handle the child. if it truly is

ra you might consider day care or a little outside help on your bad days. good

wishes rita
