Guest guest
I know of a six-year old boy, with mitochondrial disease, whose blood sugars do weird things. His mother posted today, in hot weather, that the child's sugar level was 83 in the morning, 146 in the afternoon inside before he went swimming, and 340 after being outside in the pool. His temp was also 100.6. Eating and meds no change. Can the heat do this, or could it be dehydration? Or the mito disease? Any thoughts? Colleen V.
