Duty Station: Bangalore Contract type Duration: Two years Objectives of the Programme TCIF is currently running a national HIV/AIDS prevention programme for truckers. A major component of the programme is STI management. The programme operates 17 static clinics and 68 extensions in 17 clinics intervention locations across 9 states. Description We require a young and active field officer with a passion to travel. She /He would report to the Regional Coordinator at the Regional Project Management Unit, Bangalore. Responsibilities He/She would be responsible for the following: a.. Provide assistance in proposal development for the implementing partners b.. Ensure effective grass root level implementation of program c.. Capacity building / Hands on training to implementing partner staff d.. Monitor, maintan quality of BCC/IPC sessions e.. Facilitiate in preparing monthly plan of action and proper implementation f.. Ensure timely monthly reports from implementing partners with correct data g.. Critical analysis of data during field visit h.. Verification of data before entry in to online WEB MIS i.. Preparation of monitoring visit reports and discussion of the same with Regional Coordinator j.. Quarterly review of the implementing partner k.. Replicate / Transfer learning of best practices l.. Ensure correct quarterly financial reports from implementing partners m.. Any other responsibility directed by the Program Director Qualifications required The candidate should be a graduate or a MSW and should have at least 1 to 3 years of field experience. Experience in Public health, STI/HIV/AIDS would be an added advantage. Competencies Young age with dynamic leadership qualities. Demonstrated knowledge in management of all aspects of health care delivery. Demonstrated skills in leadership and teamwork, management, negotiations and diplomacy. Desirable: Knowledge of NACO and WHO programmes and policies in STI/HIV. Languages Excellent knowledge of English and Hindi. TCIF is committed to provide equal opportunities to PLHA.
