Guest guest
Hi everyone! I have a new symptom I was wondering if I could get some feedback on to see if its anything related to RA. In the past when I have had any foot pain, its more near the ankle. I woke up this morning and the top of my left foot near the toes hurts so badly that I could barely even stand and was difficult to walk. I've been in bed resting for several days due to an upper respiratory infection. I didn't injure it in any way, I didn't have it stepped on, and I did not hit it on anything in my sleep. I tried to curl my toes under to see if I could stretch it out. I was thinking a pulled muscle, although how I would pull one of those in my foot is beyond me. If I point them toward the ceiling they hurt some, but more when curled toward the floor. This is completely new to me. I don't have any pain in the leg. This pain is a level 8 on a 1 to 10 pain scale. I'm not able to take the Sulfasalazine at this time and thought perhaps this is a flare? I tend to start my symptoms on one side of my body occassionally, then later the same thing happens to the other side. I'm quite perplexed on this one! Thanks so much:) __________________________________________________
