Tell you what, an even easier way to prevent the issue is to just leave the

group entirely. Since so many of the " professionals " commenting fail to

understand the courtesy I am requesting, I will just no longer deal with it.

Hey, , hope you don,t intend to leave. I know many times I may have a

different point of view but you definitely make think and become passionate if I

believe myself.

Pat,

I gave up on those bulletin boards after the first couple of months. I may

be the exception (but I know I'm not), but I LOVE the controversy, the

different opinions, the incredible amount of knowledge and courage I see out

there. I would not trade these lists and the vast array of valuable

information I get from them for a boring, staid, indifferent and cold

bulletin. For a boring method to obtain information I'll buy the book and

read it. I just wish that the Yahoo groups as well as being so lively,

would be more in the line of Face Book so I can actually see the faces of

the participants, and especially the surroundings in which they work. I'm a

very visual person, as well as extremely passionate about those things that

interest me.

There is NO ADA discussion group for the last few years other than those

of DPG groups. ADA phased it out for a bulletin board format that was

announced as more current, etc. I joined and get a weekly email on

Sunday's recapping strings that have recent entries. When I open it

most are about people starting out in private practice or another new

endeavor and wanting ideas. Often there are only two or three posts

that I can see in a week though one can read strings going back some

time Pat
