Guest guest
Is there a calculation for, or suggested range of protein intake for patients with an abnormally low GFR? Thank you, Shelby
Guest guest
0.6-0.8g protein /Kg, 50% high biological value. If the patient is malnourished it is not recommended to restrict protein. I suggest you tor read NKF and ESPEN guidelines about nutritional management in renal patients. There is alot more things to take into account that only protein adequacy.
