Guest guest
Delores, i just read an article in our local paper that Vitiamin B6 if taken in high doseage can cause nerve damage. I read were this man who runs was having tingling and numbness in his feet & hands. He went to his doctor who ran blood work tests and come to find out he had B6 toxicity. His system was not dissloving his B6 (multi Vit) supplement and built up to a toxic level causing neuropathies. What do you know about B6?............ Guest guest
I know that any and all vitamins can be toxic if taken in large doses. Many have the impression that they can be nothing other than " good " and that if a little is good, more must be better. NOT SO!! Taking more than the RDA for most things is not recommended, unless there is a measurable deficiency. They do not give us energy nor do anything else magical. (I know I'll have all kinds of comments about that statement). Essentially, vitamins are just catalysts to enable the macronutrients, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, to do their jobs.
