Baclofen Pump

I'm having the pump installed in two weeks (9/26) and wondering how

things will change for me. I'm 58; had symptoms since 1991; was dx'd

in 1993; used a walker since 1993 and have used a scooter since

1995. I can stand for a while if I hold on to something but have no

balance at all. Given all that, I wonder if I will be able to walk

again...will my speech return...so many questions! The surgeon tells

me not to expect too much, too soon, and in fact, to expect

increased weakness as the spasticity leaves. Guess only time will

tell. Anyone have thoughts about this?

Thanks!

stan

Hi Yuskel, In answer to part of your question- microwaves are no problem -

I don't understand GSM what does this mean? My understanding is MRI's

because of the magnets and extreme pressure changes- scuba diving and

parachute jumping for instance- I don't know about you but that aspect of

my exercise program is long gone :-) Lavon
