Guest guest
Hi All, My rheumatologist says I have to decide which IV treatment to use. It is between Rituxan and Humira. These are my only options. I've decided on Rituxan, so would like to hear if anyone has tried it. Give it to me straight -- the good, bad, and the ugly. Thank you, --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
Guest guest
Hi , I had Rituxan and tolerated it very well. I had a bad reaction first time, which is actually very common. But I have such a weird system -- you typcially take it with methotrexate but I can't take mtx so it reacted very different than what is called normal. Typically, I believe you see results rather quickly, however, I didn't see changes for several months. I haven't been back on it yet because I have had some other health problems. My doctor has told me that when my other problems subside, I will go for it again. From the people I have talked with at the infusion place, no one had any problems. I am no where near the typical patient but I hope this helps. D. - Florence, SC <bizzyisme@...> wrote: Hi All, My rheumatologist says I have to decide which IV treatment to use. Guest guest
Thank you, . I also have an autoimmune disorder of the bile ducts in my liver, so that leaves out a lot of the medications due to their effect on the liver. Rituxan is what I'll try. It doesn't seems popular, though, judging from the lack of email response. Take care! <ltdavis_jrdavis@...> wrote: Hi , I had Rituxan and tolerated it very well.
