Guest guest
Thank you ladies for all the info...gout ?? interesting, I too eat a lot of ground turkey, I will have to check into that.Yes the energy level is gruesome, I had to force myself out of bed today, but I made it...YEAH !! I hope all of you have an energetic and bless day. I do have one more question, I ran out of the house and forgot my celebrex this morning..and I am stiff all over...Do you think that is the result or is it a bad flare, last night was crazy bad..I would think it would stay in my system for a day...one more thing sorry, im new to all of this, when a person is in remission, and controlled does that mean all days are good, or is it like now, up and down...some days i wake up and think yeah im okay, and an hour later I feel drained and pained...Is this disease like this forever ??? --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Thank you again very much, though not encouraging.. I did ask for the truth..LOL well mine is still not under control, celebrex does help with the stiffness..today is a bad one..feel like hell, I sit all day at a desk, I did bring my tennis shoes so I can walk at lunch today, moving makes me feel better as well, just getting the energy to do so is like pulling jaw teeth, but hopefully later today and tomorrow will be better...Thank you again for the advice ! --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
, I think that really depends. I am very well controlled right now. That means I have some stiffness, and some weakness in some joints. But not much pain. I have stopped my celebrex completely for months now. Anyone looking at me would not know I have RA. I am still working full time (although I have a sedentary job). I shop, cook, do laundry, etc. I can do most exercise. My RA does not consume me anymore. My doc won't call it remission, she calls it control. I don't care what she calls it, I can live like this forever. Of course with this disease we don't know what waits around the corner. But I would not assume you will have unmangeable pain forever. It can change. Guest guest
Well I am from the big stated of Texas. And my rheaumy told me my blood work came back negative the first time, she is running it again, but my xrays say everything. I have it all im my fingers, wrists and all down my back and hips. She didnt xray my feet but I told her how bad they hurt. Its good to hear there is control. Thats what I am going for. I am fixing to be 42, I too have a seditary job. I really like my doctor, she is a very positive person and has specialized since 1994. I feel secure with her. Thank you both for the encouragement. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
