trigger finger vs. contracture

Hey all,

Been lurking for months following wrist fusion surgery. I have the

curled fingers in the morning before surgery I would open with contrast

baths every morning and forcing them open while in the water. Since

surgery I can only open middle and index finger and my ring and pinky

fingers are curled up working hard in P.T. no luck yet my pt and

surgeon call it contracture what is difference between trigger and

contracture or are they the same?
