Guest guest
YES, we are not getting our money's worth. I bet there would be no talk of reduction in Medicare and Medicaid if Congress didn't have the cushy medical plan and retirement plan they voted themselves. I am due to retire in the next 5-10 years and we are thinking of retiring in place Bush Alaska because the local doctors take Medicare. Anchorage is just now getting a special clinic for Medicare patients because most, 98%, of the local doctors WILL NOT take Medicare patients and kick you off their rolls when you reach Medicare age. It may cost an arm and a leg to live here but at least I can health care outside of the ER.
