JISSN and the Impact factor

Hi all, I wanted to share info on the Impact Factor of the Journal of

the International Society of Nutrition (www.jissn.com)

Below are the aggregate data for Journal Impact Factor for each category

related to Sports - Dietetics.

The mean Impact Factor ( " IF " ) in Sport Sciences was 1.53 (n=79) and

Nutrition / Dietetics was 2.33 (n=70).

The JISSN ranked 9th of 79 journals in Sport Sciences (in top 12%) and

22nd of 70 journals in Nutrition/Dietetics (in top 32%).

Notably, the JISSN had a higher IF than the IJSM (2.38), IJSNEM (2.23),

EJAP (2.21), JAT (1.99), JSCR (1.85), and RQ (1.19) in the Sport Science

category; and, Nutrition and Metabolism (2.35), Nutrition Res (2.09),

and J Am Coll Nutr (1.95) in the dietetic category.

The JISSN was ranked one below Nutrition (2.726). Comparatively, Amino

Acids had an IF of 4.106.

placing the journal in the top 12% of journals (9th of 79 journals) in

the 'Sports Sciences category of the Journal Citation Report and in the

top 35% of journals (22nd out of 70 journals) in the 'Nutrition &

Dietetics category.

The above indicates that the JISSN is also the TOP rated journal in

Sports Nutrition (it's central academic focus). For this we thank you
